Kind of wanna just write down what I remember of last night's dream becaues it was so vivid at the time and so much more detailed than my dreams usually are.
I remember travel was a big component of it. Trying to make like a big cross country move but there being problems with the vehicle. I remember at one point getting into a limo, but with compartments rather than a front and back. I was in the very back and it immediately had to be given up on when going over a hill caused it to tilt and no longer be able to keep all its tires on the road.
At another point there was a sense of being split up from a group of people at some sort of mountain resort. At first there were moments of seeing people I was trying to group up with on the other sides of windows and being unable to get their attention or unable to find a way to actually meet up. At some point I recall going through a library. But the part that really stuck with me was the train.
The idea was that it was supposed to be a shuttle from one half of the resort to another, but once boarded it became a seemingly unending trip. The tracks were on a raised bridge which at times was sensibly close to the ground like an actual train might be and other times hundreds of feet in the air. Everyone on board knew that something was wrong and had a sense of unease about where the train was taking them, how long the trip would take, and what was going on outside.
Outside was weird. Sometimes just normal natural environments, other times dead and desolate with no light in the sky. Some folks considered jumping at one point, but changed their minds after seeing that dead environment. I recall at one point seeing boats on a nearby ocean. Rather than shipping containers they had rows of giant cans stacked on top of one another.
Somebody opened a big bag of chips for a snack. I wanted to say something about maybe needing to ration any food we had, but was worried I'd incite panic by suggesting the train would travel for days, possibly without an end. The person sitting next to me mumbled to himself about saving supplies and I nudged him and agreed. It seemed like we all had that thought as nobody took more than a single chip.
Anyway it was weird!!!!!!!!!
