A friend was able to replace my busted tablet keyboard with his old one, though it too sometimes has issues. Though wayyyy less often. Enough that I'm pretty fine using it.
But if it too is likely to go, so I started perusing ebay without really committing to anything to see if I could luck out and snipe a deal. Seeing how much just the keyboards go for, I wanted to try to just get a whole new tablet even if I didn't super need one.
Didn't wait super long, and started to bid on a Surface 7 that was still pretty cheap with an hour left on it. Got it shipped for $130. Excited for the little improvements like USB-C for charging, no longer having a broken LCD in the lower right corner of the display after an unfortunate drop.
I've been using Ubuntu since I switched to Linux in like 2019, and while I still like the OS, I want to try something different and figure this will be a good time.
Also I gotta post something about playing through Mina enough to see credits. (That'll be spoiler warned should it happen) Am now trying to try for some more creative activities rather than playing games for a bit.
